Ice bathing & breathwork — right at the forest's edge, in small groups, guided by Tom Rosenstein.
You've been curious about ice bathing for a while, but you're not quite sure how to start? That's exactly what this workshop is for. No pressure, no performance — you go at your own pace.
We meet in a small, personal setting. The house sits at the forest's edge, with a sauna and natural access to the river. Everything's ready here — you just have to show up.

You've experienced the ice bath — and you sense there's more. Several ice baths at once as a group: a conscious encounter with your limits, on a new level.
No more gentle approaching. We go straight into the depth — physically, mentally and together.

Sometimes you need a protected space to truly let go. This workshop combines the power of cold with the warmth of a women's circle.
No pressure to perform. No comparison. Just you, the cold and a group of women daring the same thing.

Whether a milestone birthday, a stag or hen do, or a team day with colleagues: a shared ice bath bonds people like almost nothing else. No hangover, no embarrassing photos — instead adrenaline, warmth and a story you'll be telling for a long time.
For companies and teams I'm happy to tailor the day to you — from overcoming something together to really catching your breath, far from the desk.

Sometimes you don't want a group. No explanations. No waiting. Arrive, breathe, into the water — and afterwards be clearer than before.
The 1:1 session is the most intense format at Upgrade Yourself — because everything is just for you.

"The body wants to flee. The mind learns to stay."
Every workshop follows the same rhythm: arriving calmly, the one decisive moment in the ice, and afterwards letting it settle in the sauna and by the river.
Breathing techniques that prepare your body perfectly.
Guided and safe. I'm there for each person individually — in the moment that changes everything.
Warmth, wildness, stillness. The natural river right by the property.
Ice bathing is more than a test of courage. It's one of the most effective ways to train body and mind — backed by current research and a practice thousands of years old.
Dopamine rises by up to 250% during an ice bath. The vagus nerve is strengthened. Inflammation markers drop. And you learn to stay calm and clear under extreme stress.
It was in the middle of a burnout. Several blows of fate in a short space of time had brought me to a point where I'd lost trust in my own body. I was functioning — but I barely felt myself anymore.
Then, in southern France, I stood in front of an ice bath for the first time. I still remember exactly the moment I stepped in. Cold. Shocking. Alive. Full of euphoria.
In that moment, for the first time in ages, I felt what my body is actually capable of. That wasn't sport. That was a return to myself.
Back home I didn't want to let that feeling go. I set up a bathtub on my terrace — at the mercy of the weather and the temperatures. I needed something permanent. So I searched — and I found it.
Not as a trainer on a pedestal. But as someone who has felt first-hand what cold can do — and who used to be very sensitive to the cold myself. Ice bathing is possible for almost everyone.

For healthy adults under guidance it is very safe. I prepare you and guide each person individually throughout the entire ice bath.
